Picked up Taowhiri after Bygone Isles" href="/w/ilarium-Hardiman12/a/motu-article">Motu was destroyed and brought him aboard his ship, the Fractured Cog. Took Taowhiri under his wing and looked out for him.
Fondrin trained Taowhiri on the ship and tried to convince him that he doesn't always need to be the hero and rush in to prove he is strong and can protect others. Fondrin worries it will get Tao killed, stating "listen lad, perhaps you should sometimes let things go. As ya know, those who live by the sword will die by the sword."
