Princess Bella Lefryn (a.k.a. Bella the Black)

Bella has always been fierce. She is intelligent, brave, independent, and skilled with a range of weapons, specialising in swordplay. She trained with the house guard from her early teens with her father's blessing and her mother's encouragement. She now travels independently across the kingdom, loyal to but separate from Leo and his orders.
Bella got her nickname,"Bella the Black", from wearing black platemail armour, even when in court. She is betrothed to a young nobleman of House Mallon, which is slowly positioning itself in the political space. The house is yet to commit to either king or council, but is leaning towards the council. Bella stays clear and flexes her diplomacy and sleight of hand skills to keep the marriage House Mallon presses for at bay.
