The daughter of a nobody
''I was always getting into trouble, but who cared? I certainly did not''.
Somewhat of an oddity for a sailor, she was not born anywhere near the coastline, in fact hailing from the Adeapai Mountains. Daihon's youth was dominated by her (and many others') family's main activity, supplying the mining colonies that dotted the landscape.
These dirty, shoddily built and difficult to reach settlements weren't really a safe environment, but still she spent most of her time in them. Eventually, she started befriending certain... shady individuals, getting involved in their various schemes and whatnot.

''Soon my parents decided it was time to find me a good boy, or at least one with plenty of stuff. But I was not having any of that, not at all''.
Even if she was still years away from being able to marry, her parents decided it was time for them to start finding their daughter a suitable partner. When news of this reached the teen, she, to put it mildly, didn't take it too well.
Thus she ran away and started to wander the land with some of her acquaintances. Soon she found herself joining a group of merchants, helping them sabotage rival bands at town fairs.
