Arborea

Arborea is the land of the Angels, an ever changing, ever shifting wilderness with a new species of creature at any turn. The chaotic creative nature of Angel leaves them to constantly create and facilitate the growth of life. Life grows so fast that within a single night in Arborea can leave your camp becoming grown over with plants. Any structures that are made within Arborea are completely consumed by the nearby trees. Navigating Arborea is nearly impossible. Even if you knew how to navigate it, there is only one destination within Arborea. That is the Silver Morass Spire, an incredibly tall tower that can be seen throughout Arborea. The trick is that the magic of Arborea makes it impossible to go straight to the spire.

Archangels

While angels roam the plane, there are a few angels that have taken extreme passion in certain creations and natural phenomenon on the plane.

Hayliel, Archangel of Diurnal Beasts

Hayliel is a symbol of strength and enjoys creating large beasts and is the sister to Hagith. He is only awake during the day and his beasts follow his sleep patterns. His wings are very large and powerful, same with the rest of his body. When forced to fight he prefers to use a massive warhammer known as Bovemmer.

Hagith, Archangel of Nocturnal Beasts

Hagith is the sister to Hayliel and is the symbol of stealth and dexterity. She is only awake at night and her beasts follow suit. Her wings are like that of an owl and create no sound as she flies. She creates creatures of the night and they are known to be fierce predators. Her preferred weapons to use when forced to fight are twin shortswords, Pardus Geminae.

Tabbris, Archangel of Trees

Tabbris has not been seen flying in the sky for millenia. Where they are located is unknown. Myth says they exist in a deep slumber at the heart of an ancient tree. They are the herald of trees and is the reason that the trees of the plane grow out of control. Tabbris has never been seen in combat, but it is said that artifact Arborgladio was once wielded by them.

Zakum, Archangel of Vines and Flowers

The father of flowers and vines, Zakum's wings have taken on a leafy appearance and his skin has gone green. Creates numerous plants besides vines and flowers, but they are his preference. He has been known to grow new and poisonous flowers in his hair. When forced into combat he wields a thorny whip Surrexerunt.

Dina, Archangel of Storms

It is said that Dina's wings are made of the clouds themselves. The weather of Arborea is controled by the changes in Dina's mood. When she is angry, horrifying storms rage. When she is happy a sun shines. When she is sad it rains, enough to cause floods. While her mood controls the entire weather, she is capable of changing immediate weather patterns to her whim. Her preferred weapon in a fight is Fulgurhastam.

Yofie, Archangel of Insects

Yofie is the angel whose appearance has changed the most from her kin. Her wings became transparent and she grew an exoskeleton. Yofie is said to no longer be a singular being, but instead shares a hive mind with the insects of Arborea. One who enters Arborea is seen by Yofie, and killing one of her insects has the possiblity of enraging her. She uses natural weapons as she grew various appendages from other insects and aracnids.

Usiel, Archangel of Waters

Usiel's wings have the feathers of a great swan. Her wings are so broad she is able to float on the water with them. She however enjoys taking the time to swim throughout the many lakes and rivers of Arborea. Her favorite creations are the various creatures that inhabit the water, including several large predators that inhabit the deceptively deep waters. When provoked her prefered weapon of choice is Emota.

Geography

Arborea is a massive forest. There are various hills and mountain regions that don't make any sense in placement. Even some other environments can be found scattered through the forest, including "small" deserts. Movement throughout the plane proves that standard navigation is impossible. The natural views are said to be some of the most beautiful in the cosmos. There are no earthquakes, or natural hazards.

Fauna & Flora

Any animal and plant that has ever existed in any plane, and some that exist only in Arborea, can call Arborea its home. It is a place of constant life and evolution.
