Personal history
Family History: Hailing from Dorethe as a scion of the Enekoitz Dynasty, a family with a history of storied military service. Many members being highly decorated for their accomplishments.
Early History: Did not fit into her family's ideals very well early on due to her bookish personality and was sent to a boarding school, which was how most familial outliers were dealt with. Excelled in her studies, including military history. When asking about several discrepancies in official accounts and references that lead to a more realistic depiction of Osposi history, her professors brought it to attention and she was sent to Yvaa Dolad to work in the holy archives of the Church essentially a scholarly exile to prevent her inquisitiveness from harming herself or others.
Researcher and Prisoner: Has been mostly content getting to read and research without interruption, making only a seasonal presentation to senior scribe Lamonte about her findings and very occasionally another member of Our Lady of Divine Descendence depending on what she found or researched previously or if something came in recently she was asked to look at. Feels lonely at times even with fellow scholars to talk to, while suffering a sense of claustrophobia from not being allowed to leave the library's grounds.
Recent Troubles: As she has dealt with more artifacts of elder civilization, Aurkene has begun to hear strange sounds; susurrations and murmurs in strange tongues. She's seen several other scribes suddenly going catatonic, burst into crying fits or fly into horrendous rages and be taken away. The handful of personal conversations leading her to believe they had begun hearing such things beforehand as well. Taking time to look up wards and rituals to keep such madness at bay, she has constructed paper runes she keeps on her person at all times.
