Spirit Wood

All around are small orbs of light playing on the wind and through the branches, they look like small budding flowers that dropped from the branches, illuminating the way through the dense wood."

These trees are alien at first sight, they appear to be from another realm entirely. Colored blue and inverted, the inner most part of each tree is bright white. Through the cracks, holes, and knots of the tree you can see this light pushing through to the surface giving an etheral look to the whole scene. It is known locally as The Spirit Wood. There are many myths surrounding the origin of this forest, some say it is where souls go if they have proven worthy while alive, where others say it is a purgatory, paying their dues to the earth before moving on. The reality is, we don't actually know the origin story. Most believe it to be the remnants of the original wizards who created the land and this is where it provides life and magic to the realms.
