Nearly a century after the cataclysm, a race different from the natives appeared coming no ships from the North and crash landed on the west coast.

The human race arrived long after the Cataclysm. They too claim a world shaking event happened in their distant land, the sudden formation and eruption of a volcano. Only a few dozen ships were able to make it out, and after over half a century at sea they finally arrived at Idwala, but not exactly at the best time considering a civil war just broke out.
