Florivian Community

Florivians are a civilization of humanoids whos spirits are linked to trees.

Demographics

Most do not think of Florivians in a positive light

Government

They mostly run themselves and are free to make their own decisions, but there is a sort of hierarchy. There is, at the very top, a council that makes most of the decisions. They do not view themselves as rulers, more as supervisors. Then, in every trade, there is a Head of Trade, who oversees the whole division.

Defences

No physical barricades, but an extremely skilled border patrol that no one could get past.

Industry & Trade

Florivians are an isolated race, and thrive off of their work and comradeship rather than the outside world.

Infrastructure

High technology transportation & waterways, complex roads/walkways, beautiful/skilled/detailed architecture

Assets

Technology, Magical Skill, Huge variety of useful plants (crops, herbs, fruits & veggies)

Architecture

All structures built from fallen branches and dead trees (never patron trees, though). Some small aspects like foundations/appliances are built from stone. Living quarters are usually decorated by aesthetic plants, like hanging vines or flowers. Most structures are built around the trunks of trees.

Geography

The Florivians dwell in a gorgeous forest. It is located in the central southwest of the mainland. It is a strange mixture of all three types of forests (rainforest, coniferous, deciduous). The trees are unimaginably large and towering, there is an enormous variety of plant and animal life, and it is a tranquil and undisturbed place. The canopy is thick and lush, yet a perfect amount of natural light filters through to the forest floor. There is a large river that flows through the center of the forest, making it a perfect water source for the community.
