Sylvia Von Herdst is a main character in International Demon Killers (IDK). She is a member of IDK and has the power to control water by either A) heating or cooling it, B) moving it.
A descendent of the old royal family of the southern area of the Kingdom of Astrea. This old kingdom was dissolved along with the rise of the Astrean Empire in 4404, but the family survived, and governed the area of the empire while the feudal system was still in effect, however, after that system had settled, the Von Herdst family sold their castle during the second succession war, after which, they went into the countryside to live out their fortune. Sylvia is not the direct heir of the lineage, as she is cousins to the actual heir, but if the system of succession were to be reinstated, she would be second in line for succession of the family titles.
Her parents were murdered by Ereshkegal, also known as Fracture. She swore an oath to herself to exact revenge on him.

Author's Notes
Sylvia has been around in all the versions of the story so far, and has been the other main character for all but the first version. In these early versions, she actually kidnaps Bryan via textbook (for his own safety at first). When I shifted the tone a bit towards reality and away from surrealist (by setting it not on Earth of course), I decided to cut this scene since it was mostly to play off a joke and not actually advance their characters in meaningful ways.
