Adaris: God of Beauty and Lust
Adaris is the god of beuaty, love and lust. They were illegal to worsip during the days of the Empire because the Empire was quite conservative. They did not promote openly discussing sex, and so a god of sex was a bit taboo to say the least. Adaris is the patron of sex workers, and their symbol, a rose, is often displayed in brothels.
They are often depicted as a very beautiful androgynous elf, with long, wavy chestnut hair and tan skin. However, they can appear in any way they like, and, when appearing to mortals, often take the form that the person would find most attractive. Because their appearance is subject to constant change, they cannot be identified by any physical features. Instead, people recognize them by the scent of cinnamon and honey that seems to follow them around.
Many of Adaris' followers are mortals who met them and fell instantly in love. These people dedicate their lives to meeting Adaris once again, just to see their face and hear their voice.
Many have described meeting Adaris and being intimate with them, but this is very difficult to prove.
