Halone

Halone is the first member of the pantheon of the Twelve, also known as the Fury, and is the Eorzean goddess of war, victory, and the mover of glaciers. She presides over the first astral moon and commands the element of ice.   She is the patron deity of Ishgard and the primary focus of their worship in the Ishgardian Orthodox Church.    She is often depicted in statuary as a fierce warrior with a bronze shield and a spear and is represented in iconography with a symbol of three spears. This symbol is mysteriously located in the Central Coerthas Highlands, a site that has since been dedicated as her sacred ground.   The Ishgardians have been observing a faith primarily focused on Halone for at least a thousand years, and have developed a canon that is taught to aspiring students and scholars of the faith in Saint Endalim's Scholasticate. All matters of spiritual life corresponds with the goddess, as it ties with the city's founding on the Nail during the dawn of the Sixth Astral Era.
