Meytle

Meytle is a very strong material with no known way to be produced. It can be found in ghost ships, as well as a few other relics from before the war.   There are several different types of meytles.

Material Characteristics

Despie being very strong, Meytle is very easily bent, as well as stretched. It is unknown what gives meytle these properties. They will also heat up extremely quickly, and do not protect against lightning.

Physical & Chemical Properties

Meytle is a solid material, which cannot be burnt or melted. It produces a loud sound when hit, and meytle can be polished

Compounds

It is unknown what makes meytle, or how to make it. Only the Old Humans know how to make it, and they're all dead.   One day, the secret of the Meytle may be revealed, but until then, Meytle is only able to be found on Ghost Ships.

History

Meytle is found in ghsot ships, where it's used for constructing them, and for many decorative items within the ships. Nowadays, it's used for protection.

Discovery

A group of ghost ship hunters found out that the ships weren't made of wood, as it had been thought they were. A recording stated that the ship was made of 'Iryon and tietayniyam, two meytles'

Everyday use

Construction, as it is much safer than other materials.

Hazards

Heats up to a high temperature very quickly when exposed to heat. Lightning seems enhanced by meytle.
