Luck's Landing

Luck's Landing is an import and export community supporting the logging operations of inland Alyeska. The trees up the Fir River are incredible in size and must be floated down the river and loaded on massive ships. Each ship can transport only one log.

Luck's Landing was named by a shipwrecked sailor. He was not only able to survive, he discovered the massive forests and established a small trading community here. His name was, no joke, Lucky Luck.

Demographics

The majority of Luck's Landing’s citizens are immigrants from Striceland. The culture in the Landing is a blending of Alyeskan and Stricer. Most of the people in and around the Landing survive off the land. Permanent residents of the Landing work mainly in the logging industry.

Government

The government in the Landing consists mainly of logging company employees. They work hard to care for their employees, providing them with healthcare, clean water, sewage, roads, and education.

Defences

The Landing has a series of horn calls and bell ringings that alert the all volunteer services department to respond to all emergencies.
