Imperial Guard

The Imperial Guard of Cria was the organization responsible with the protection of the Emperor and the consillors. They were the most elite body-guards in the world and most of them were veterans of Cria's army.

One imperial guard often used standard armor with a shield with the banner of Cria.

Weaponry

The imperial guard soldiers were given some of the best Crian swords and crossbows, the first for hand-to-hand combat and the second to shoot enermies in the distance. The crossbow could also be equiped with a "firework", which would cause damage to someone close and open space in the crowd for people to pass.

The imperial guard often used horses to travel faster.

Recruitment

If a soldier intends on being promoted to an Imperial Guard, the soldier must already be considered an elite soldier and have done at least advanced body-guard trainning. If both conditions are true, the soldier then can ask his superior to become a Imperial Guard and, if accepted into trainning, he/she will train for three extra months before being able to become one.

History

The Imperial Guard Services were formed after a failed attempt of assassination of the Emperor of Cria. As the standard body-guards were unable to  stop the crime until more soldiers arrived. Ashamed by the performance, the Armed Forces of Cria decided to create this special elite unit to prevent any more attempts of mudering the emperor or other important figures.

Historical loyalties

Since the formation of the Imperial Guard Services, the guards were always loyal to the Empire of Cria and there are no records of defection.
