S42 - Whats our next Move? Report

General Summary

Saki, finally done with his job at Ootorii Kabe, decides to reunite with the party. After a day of travel, Saki arrives at Kanihama-shi. But instead of reporting straight to the Jito, Saki decides to go on a pub crawl. Meanwhile, back at the castle, the rest of the group are awoken by a castle servant telling them that the Tandai's reply had just arrived, and to meet Lord Jirou at their earliest convenience. They wake up, a bit tired from their night at the festival and head over to the Jito's office immediately. Before they discuss the contents of the letter, an ashigaru comes in rushing, telling the Jito that Saki is causing a ruckus at one of the izakaya's in the dock district. The Jito asks the group to handle it.

After shenanigans ensue, they group is able to drag a drunk and unconscious Saki out from the izakaya and back to the castle, after which they have lengthy discussion about the Tandai's missive.

A little later, Jugen times his entrance at just the right moment when the group at the castle asked for where the others were. Jugen tells them that the rest were at Inja's hut, and they decide to head there.

Once they reach the beach, they see the others collapsed on the beach, a bit winded from a combat exercise that Inja prepared for them. Before they commence the actual diagnostic test, the group discusses what they're next step was. They decided whether to push through with Inja's training, heading to the forward camp, staying at Kanihama-shi, going to Lord Kisei, or meeting with the Matsu Clan. Ultimately, they decided to push through with Inja's training, although some were hesitant.
