Changeling

A Changeling is a mortal race, capable to change his shape and appearance and a whim. They are related to the humans and might prefer to live around them, But changelings are spread across Adonisia, in every place where you can find the mortal races, you will find a changeling.

Upbringing

Copulation of a changeling and another of the mortal race will, nearly always, produce a changeling babe. Changelings prefer not to raise the child and might give it to the partner or the partner race, if both are changelings, they will prefer humans. A changeling infant is a bore to rise for the changeling, and they will swap it with another baby. They do not get attached to them, as they do not get attached to any form, they take them to study them. While caring for them they will tell the kid, as he grows, they are not his parents and will give him the choice if to stay with them or not. They have no need for him anymore if they wanted to copy his behaviour they could do it now perfectly. Living by the Rumors

Changelings are good at any task that requires clandestinely. They are then called thieves and rouges if they ever show their true face, and they don't mind it, because its true. Coins don't grow on trees and the wicked ways of the world might be more profitable to some. The changelings are those some, who can sneak in, spy, steal or even assassinate if there is a need for it. They can kill a target and important it for as long as it suits their masters. Changelings are rarely the heads of an organization by themselves. Although, who knows? they might be running the kingdom.
