Personal history

Mallen Miko was born into a high class family in the country of Saluth before he became curious of the outer world. While his sister went on to travel the seas and become well known, Mallen stayed in the shadows to learn of things in the past to prevent the problems of the future.
Being a man of intrigue, Mallen sought after magical artifacts and the diplomatic society that he lived in. When he heard of his sister's dismay however, Mallen rushed to her aid and continued to search after a man named Solas Caster. After some years, he ended his search in Frelia, where he found that Solas became a member of the Frelian military. It was during this time tailing Solas that Mallen would learn of espionage and become a well respected member of the Military.
After his search was nearly over, Mallen would befriend a Military Elite named Hel Noctis and learn more about the shadows behind all great leaders. In his constant tracking of Solas Caster, he found himself intercepting messages and illegal trades alongside the primary trade route, until he would find the Saviors. It was around this time, Solas was defeated, but more sinister plots were needing uncovered.
In 1259 PMC, Mallen vowed to give up his life of espionage and the shadows when he helped end his friend's life. Instead, he sought a peaceful life that befitted his experiences and moved to Waterfrontin Isteria. After the The Treaty of 1273, Sol Karma and his relationship with Mallen's sister, Vera Miko made him trusting of his new king and brother in law. It was through this relation that Mallen would be named "Maester Miko" and become the Ambassador for Saluth and Mayor of Waterfront.

After his life of an informant changed, Mallen became Mayor of Waterfront to help Neo Isteria's growth. During his stay in Waterfront, he continues to be in constant contact with local traders, military and keeps a good relationship with the Oceanic Priesthood.
