Zolikz

Zolikz is not a name but rather a title that is passed down to someone who Zolikz deems worthy when they retire (a usually forcibly and violent process). The first Zolikz was a hero (though not in the modern sense) from the Era of War who would fight as a mercenary for various factions and performed great deeds of strength and might. Zolikz gained a reputation as a capable warrior who was able to decimating entire armies by himself and was thus sought out by various cities to oppose Laststar.

It is unknown when the first Zolikz became the second but as this process continued the achievements of Zolikz accumulated and his followers grew. Tales of the inspired few being led to victory by Zolik and the oblivious manner in which they pushed back against their enemies would spread far and wide, enduring to the present day. Today when the name Zolikz is mentioned two things come to mind; their steadfastness in the face of ruthless villains and the jovial manner in which they undertook their 'work'. These tales have morphed into that of a legend and paved the way for a scattered group of heroes that is modelled after the mythology of Zolikz. It attracts the type of free-willed individuals that have difficulty collaborating on a large scale, instead preferring to roam as smaller units.

Today Zolikz fights with a grappling style and wields immense strength. He wears a cuirass bristling with adamantine spikes to inflict maximum damage to any villain that falls into his grasp.
