The Law Giving

The Law Giving was a concept begun during the conquests of the world by Laststar in which assimilated settlements, communities and towns where allowed to put forth one law for their areas that would help them retain their way of life. This was allowed by Laststar and the Dawnstar Church as a show of good faith and a promise that their concerns were to be considered.

Over time many of these laws would evolve and adapt with the growing city. In some cases they would change completely and be lost, in others they could form the basis of the culture of entire districts.
