Sumoradlung (Summer add-lung (Summer Disease))

Sumoradlung is a strange and bizarre illness that affects a few people from late yeal-monatha through sumor-monatha. The illness effects some people worse than others with mild symtoms being wet nose, wet eyes and itchiness. Other people may experience worse symptoms like tight airways, head pains. In some cases ear disease and nose disease. The illness is feared by most people due to its unpredictablity and the potential of the illness lasting a long duration. Suffers can experience tiredness due to both the illness and it's interuption of sleep, this leads to poorer productivity. The lowered productivity during seeding season is the biggest fears among farming communities, expecially those suffering lower yields.

Common Treatments

The best early treatment of Sumoradlung(Summer Disease) is a tincture of stinganwyrt(Stinging Plant). This tincture can help treat the itchiness and sneezing. Another treatment for later symptoms is cropahnutuwyrt(Nutflower Plant) which treats coughing or yeswietfeldwyrt(Sweet Meadowplant) which will treat fevers and inflammations. The 3 can be got seperately and added to soups, stews and other dishes, or in an ekidrenk(Potion/Tincture) either individually or combined. Another treatment for those who are restless and cannot sleep is a tea or coffee made from fulstinkendewyrtruma(Stinking Root) also known as swebbanwyrt/wérywyrt(Sleeping Plant)
