Behemoth
Earth-Lord
Behemoth was one of the three Primordial Beasts that ruled over Primordial Hell. He was a massive, scaled creature that wandered the surface of the world, building mountains and valleys, carving out caverns and canyons. His movements brought earthquakes, floods, and landslides, but these were always followed by periods of flourishing and life. He was widely worshiped for his role in natural cycles. He is associated with the earth, strength, and masculinity.
He had a close relationship to his son with Leviathan: Beelzebub. Beelzebub assisted his father in maintaining a balance between life and death by spreading plagues and disease to cripple overambitious populations.
Mental characteristics
Morality & Philosophy
Behemoth was not concerned with intimate morality as one of the three gods of Primordial Hell. He concerned himself with the balance of the realm as a whole, however. His rhythmic movements maintain life and death in Primordial Hell and he considers it his solemn duty to maintain that balance.
