Dwarf

Bold and hardy, dwarves are known as skilled warriors, miners, and workers of stone and metal. They have become the dominant species and society after the storms, and harbor all surviving humanoid creatures to their knowledge within their walls. While they have made some compromises in terms of accommodations, The dwarf king's will is still law in the city that applies to all residences. Dwarves originate not far from Hel'baurg, the valleys and plateaus that neighbor the great volcano once was their native lands until King Brogrock Lavariver moved them under the mountain. It was here they perfected their masonry and built the city, which was so sturdy it survives storms from the Great Cataclysm to this day. The Dwarves are the primary peace keepers and security of the city, however the different district have raise their own militias to help guard the large stretch of protective walls and streets in what is a very large city.
