Tholios

The Central Northern region of Grecia, contains the bustling city of Lakon. Well, it’s become a lot less “bustling” since the tensions with the Shieldlands were reaching an all time high. Once a striving city of adventurers & traders, it’s now a definitive shell of what it once was. Most of the residents from the city have been ‘relocated’ through their own choice or forced out. It now stands as more of a staging ground for Grecian troops ready to move into Shieldland territory, the walls have become manned more often than not and countless troop camps have been setup outside the wall and the soldiers that pass through the once great town are at an all time high, but anything to keep Grecia safe, right?

Geography

This province contains the majority of Lake Dásia, only a small portion of it enters into the other province of Hentonia and as such the residents of this province know little of what happens there. It contains a large forest range to the west of the city-come-fort called Selerna, there is currently a myth among the population that a small community of Dryads and Eladrin are suspected to live into the forest, and some rumours even go as far to say that passage to the Feywilds can be obtained inside. But these rumours are yet to be proven anything more than just stories.

Fauna & Flora

1 flora of note resides within this province, a very deadly plant, Prird - The White Ringed Leaf, can only be found here. Fitting that the deadly plant resides in such a hostile location. This notorious plant has a death toll that stretches into triple figures, despite it being plainly obvious to the eye. A large bush of velvet red with bright white rings on the leaves, hence the name, when handled without adequate protection the residue from the leaves transfers onto the skin of the creature and starts to burn it's way through and poison them. Once this process has been started, very few things appear to stop and/or slow it down save for powerful magic users. This plant is expensive, considering how easy it is to find, beaten only by Ikerth. Prird is not all bad however, when prepared by experienced herbalists can enhance the effects of certain elixirs & potions causing them to be more potent and beneficial. Incorrect preparation however, can cause the potions effects to be nullified and the affected creature to experience intense pain as the poison becomes more aggressive. It unfortunately causes no coolour change with the initial potion, so it's effects are unknown until consumed.
