Government

The role of Duke of the Wetlands has been in the Gilpin family for 9 generations. It is passed down from father to son with the current Duke teaching his son Casper at the moment.

Defences

Port Coombe is surrounded by a 30 foot tall wall with sealed gates to restrict access only from the port. Further 15 foot walls sprawl across the city separating the different districts with manned checkpoints ensuring the plague does not spread. There is a permanent garrison of the Wetlands Army as well as Navy and a large amount of Witch Hunters.

Geography

Sitting on a large bay and the Lopkin River, Port Coombe is built on heavy stone block foundations raising the ground level to around 4 foot above Sea Level.
