Legatus Gaius (a.k.a. Hellstrider)

Legatus Gaius is man of legend in the Marble Coast, not because he was a brilliant general and led an army to decisive victories but because he is one of the hardest men in the entire Coast, the man is a legend, thought to be unbeatable. Gaius is still a young Elf but in 1st Legion standards, he has been fighting for longer than any. He has served in all three branches of the 1st Legion but spent most of his time with the Ashwalkers. What made Legatus Gaius a true legend was when he went toe to toe with Vivinferos, a golem made of magma, created to be a unstoppable force of pure destruction created by Perses titan of destruction. Gaius was and still is the only mortal to ever face Vivinferos and live. He has faced Ice Wraiths and Frost Salamanders in the north, Demons and monsters in the East but none can ever compare to the golem of destruction whose name translates to Living Hell.
Gaius stands at 5'10'' and has an athletic build of dense muscle, he is a soldier built for endurance rather than brute strength like most of the 1st Legion. He is in peak physical condition, a master of any weapon placed into his hands.
