Khatai

Khatai, is a land of beautiful rolling hills and flat grasslands, with the occasional winter snow. Plentiful herds of wild horses in the southern half of the area. This region borders Hentomia, Ephesia the Grecian. This region encompasses some of the sky breakers mountains. There region shares the same name with the single city that resides in the region and acts as the regions capital. There is 3 mining settlements in the area, two at the sky breakers, and one at the Azargh Mounts.

Geography

The region is mostly grasslands with some forests dotted around. It has two different sets of mountains in the region, the Skybreakers and the Azargh. The region is seperated from Grecia by a large river. The biggest forest in the Khatai region near is close to the Grecian border and is known as the Kortharas Forest, the forest and its surrounding lands are rich and fertile with many different plants and fauna growing.

Fauna & Flora

The forests of Khatai are mostly birch wood forests with some Pine wood forests dotted around the bases of the mountains, plentiful amounts of plants and mushrooms can be found in these forests. Deer, badgers, hedgehogs, and other woodland critters can be found in the forests, along with big predators such as Wolves, Dire Wolves and Bears. The grasslands have wild herds of Horses that roam them, common and the much rarer Giant Snake.

Natural Resources

The area is filled with Birch Wood, the nomadic tribes herd Horses and Goats, some herd sheep too. There is currently 1 Iron mine, 1 copper mine and 1 tin mine in the region.
