Jarl Rungnir

Rungnir was once the champion of the previous King, Sigurd's father. He fought many years to defend the crown, and survived many battled, both with the Orcs to the North and the Grecians to the South. The history books are unsure as to where Rungnir came from to be the Kings Champion, but he was already a great warrior when he attained the position. Rungnir is a large man, with eyes that show a deeper soul, his body is senewed muscle built with years of training and fighting. Though Rungnir has been around for decades, he appears as though he has not aged since he first became the Kings Champion.
Rungnir was granted the Jarldom to the South when Sigurd took the throne as a reward for all his service. He would continue to serve the realm but he would do so with an army behind him and a keep to guard out the Grecians. In his service he has made a strong alliance with his neighbour Jarl Erica and their alliance is what holds the Eastern front of Skjoldvegg. Rungnir rules his Jarldom with his sorceress wife Jennifer Destindottr, something which irks the En Cearcall incredibly.
