Yippies

Yippies, also known as Templars, are a race of aborigines of unknown origin. They are found mostly in a nearby dimension and on the Tagaloa, where they are the dominant species. Their closest relatives are the Old Folk of Heimland and the Comanches of the other dimension.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Yippies have a humanoid appearance, with golden skin, and are physically highly attractive; yet they cannot breed with any other biological races of Heimland, leading to speculation that the Yippies have formed a new subspecies of humanity. They are inscrutable and have no discernible sense of humor nor any morality recognizable to ordinary people. This particularly manifests itself in their practices: the Yippies make no emotional attachment to marriage and will all consent to courtship provided a price is paid. The Yippies are extremely avaricious and will do almost anything for money.

History

It is unknown where the Yippies come from. If asked, they will simply state "the lands of magic and guns". It could be assumed that they are referring to the Midlands, or somewhere similar. Most people assume that the Yippies come from another dimension, one very similar to Heimland.
