Patrick-the-Engine

Patrick-the-Engine (known by his other name as "B'phvethric") is the main power-unit of the Heimland. His surges of Moona-energy pulse through the earth itself, flowing from the tops of mountains down to the land, through the rivers and streams and nourishing everything it passes with energy akin to blood coursing through the veins. Patrick powers every technological object, from the factories and charging-stations frequented by the machines to the forges in the Harbor that produce weapons that are sold to the armories.

Utility

Patrick is used to power every tech-device that requires charging. He can charge any object from any distance throughout the Heimland. It is said that the Old Folk once used him to send signals to other races on the Tagaloa.

Manufacturing

Patrick was the first machine to be made, and with his power the Old Folk were able to produce more machines that built factories all across Heimland, most notably the Fortress-of-Sienna (also more commonly known as The Factory).

Access & Availability
The common people living in Disra have never come too close to Patrick, as his enclosure is sacred-ground and is protected by a fence of blue-fire, better known as the "Ellektreesitty" which is an invention of the Old Folk. Any person coming within 100 meters of the location is killed via a blazer-beam fired from one of two-hundred mounted fire-turrets that surround the rectangular land. The turrets are cleaned daily by some Kaitiaki, who can wander close to the fence as they are spirits.
Complexity
Patrick, through unknown means, can produce energy at a rate of 800 times the speed of light. This energy, formed from Moona harvested from the air, spreads through every part of the Heimland. Some say Patrick does not run on fuel but in fact runs on an ancient Teletai spell cast by the Folk centuries ago.
Discovery
Made by the Old Folk in 800,000 DE the Folk in the cities of Disra (the Moon-City, is where Patrick-the-Engine currently resides) and Thetmis (the Sun-City, is built around Disra), Patrick has been functioning for 800,050 years since first built, but was not used during the 1000 year-old Dark-Age. He was re-discovered somewhere in 22 AE, when a group of common people found his old resting-place in Disra, which was cleaned and re-built by some machines shortly after.
