Personal history

In the scenic town of ██████ situated between █████████ and ███████, Minä was born to the head Enchantress of the ██████ Noble Family. She was the result of rivalry turned romance between the head Enchantress of house ██████ and the head Mage of house █████. This forbidden love did not go unpunished, Minä's mother was removed from her position by the actions of one of her more ambitious students who sought to take her place. Minä and her mother were cast out and left with no place to live. The other noble house refused to take them in, and Head Mage █████ had vanished the very same night without a trace.
Minä's mother tried for a time to support her child by using her magical skill to get herself ahead, but nobody would even consider hiring her for fear of retribution from the noble houses. The two barely scraped by a decade plus a few years, until Minä's mom finally relented and gave her up to child protective services after having successfully taught her two spells. CPS, recognizing the danger in keeping that child around with two feuding noble houses and her right in the middle of it, decided to send Minä someplace else.
Her teenage years were difficult. Minä had never grown up understanding how to interact with other people due to the difficult circumstances of her life, and when she was placed into school for the first time she was quickly labeled as a shy, loner child. She would always find herself left out, bullied, stepped over. One of her bullies took things entirely too far and decided to start being physically abusive towards her. She tried to take the advice of teachers and other adults to just turn the other cheek, and to inform them whenever it happened. Nothing ever came of it.
She took matters into her own hands by going behind their backs and transferring a mild shocking enchantment that was being shown to her class as part of their lesson, to a stick that she found outside during recess. The next time that the bully confronted her, he left crying and full of burns. Minä was swiftly expelled. The parents of the bully pressed charges and Minä was arrested, found guilty, then sent to a Juvenile detention center for five months.
Those five months went even worse for her. She continued to be the target of ridicule, assault, more bullying, she felt powerless to stop any of it. She made a resolution then to never allow herself to be weak enough to be a target again. After she was released from Juvie, she was homeschooled from then on.
At the age of 18 she left home to shape her own destiny. Using all the funds that she saved up since that resolution, she bought the most powerful enchanted items that she could get her hands on, and constructed her first wand. With nothing but that and the willpower to get stronger, she set out as an adventurer and started trying to take on dungeons. Many other more senior adventurers would laugh at seeing a fledgeling walk into a crypt. She was ridiculed more, the community she was a part of consistently downplaying her efforts.
Until one day she walked out of a dungeon she stepped into a day before, leaving behind a large smoking crater in her wake. She had stopped being a joke, and turned into a destructive force of nature. People didn't target any more, they started to fear and revere her. Progressively she found herself more distanced from other people as she got stronger. She traveled the world looking for new places to explore.
Then she was approached by North Nobilli, an upstart looking to take the world's greatest solo dungeon runners and bring them together into one guild. She felt the idea preposterous at the time, and declined his invitation to join. She told him that he would need to prove himself first, to build the guild and get people in it before approaching her. She figured that might have been the last she would've seen of him. North proved her wrong after some time of preparing and approaching other heroes.
He approached her for the second time, and this time was successful in convincing her.
She joined the Lone Wolf Pact.
