Yaronne

Yaronne, Lord of Deldbar
Shield: Party per pale sable and argent, a raven close countercharged
Motto: Foresight and tenacity.
Registry: Holy Oak, 398
Holdings: Deldbar (Lord Salton Yaronne), Quantlen (Bailiff Sir Shentar Yaronne), Ubael Townhouse in Tashal (Constable Sir Tonan Yaronne)
Liege: Clan Ubael (Uldien)
Vassals: Lartyne (Kithald)
Greatclans related to: Ubael (cousin's husband)
Notes: For centuries, clan Yaronne has been the solid bedrock supporting Clan Ubael in peace and war. This loyalty has also paid off for the Yaronnes, granting them the manors of Deldbar and Quantlen, and the vassalage of Clan Lartyne.
Many Yaronnes also held the office of constable of Caer Ubael, or Serolan of Uldien Abbey, or married women from their liege's clan. Wherever a Ubael goes, a Yaronne follows on his heels or precedes his steps to pave the way.
At present, Lord Salton Yaronne, 48, holds the ancestral manor of Deldbar. The boisterous, heavily drinking widower is head of a large clan. With 7 children of his own, his eldest son Sir Shentar Yaronne, 22, currently bailiff of Quantlen, and the others serving as squires or ladies-in-waiting throughout the Barony, the next generation is well positioned to follow in his footsteps.
He hopes to find a good match for his second child, Lady Shendra, 19, at the upcoming Chelebin Tournament in Olokand. His younger twin brothers, Salton and Tonan, 42, are tied closely to clan Ubael. Sir Salton serves as constable of Caer Ubael in Uldien and is the Baron's right hand in matters of government and warfare. Sir Tonan is married to the Baron's youngest cousin Enlyn, and lives with his family at the Ubael's townhouse in Tashal. As constable there, he looks after the Ubaels' business in the capital and represents the Barony at the king's court. He is a very loyal and conscientious man, but not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Well aware that his insights are limited, he relies strongly on his wife's judgment and refers important decisions to his liege. This arrangement has worked out brilliantly so far.
