Stentil

Held by Sir Inglen Marren for Clan Lartyne.
The current bailiff Sir Inglen Marren, 23, has succeeded his father last year after disaster struck Stentil in the form of a strange plague that killed over half of the residents, including Sir Inglen's parents and only living uncle. His wife Taeren Lartyne, 21, was struck down as well, but was one of the few afflicted who recovered slowly from the illness. The plague, whose symptoms were high fever, vomiting, and severe diarrhoea, was confined to Stentil alone and many blame it on contaminated water from the lake – curiously, the inhabihants of Drelic manor, downsteam of the lake, were completely spared.
Some wagging tongues claim that witchcraft must have been at work, a malicious rumour vigorously suppressed by Sir Inglen and his wife. The couple yet has to produce an heir.
Stentil lies on the shore of a small lake and thus mainly produces fish and, rather unusual for Anvusen Hundred, honey and mead – an art brought along by the Marrens from their former home. Marren mead and honey are very popular throughout Balimshire and the producer's mark of three bees is known to young and old alike.
