Lachel

In the Nelafayn Hundred, Meselyneshire, Lachel holds 1330 acres and is a more recent holding of Baseta.
Granted by Queen Chelebin III from Olokand to Baseta as payment of a wager when Elfrod Caldeth, the 17th Earl of Vemion won the royal tournament at Olokand.
As an act of chivalry, the Earl granted the manor to the Queen’s champion, Sir Pellan @bin, and his grandson, Sir Merjan, holds it now.
That knight has not been the best steward of the estate, being prone to attacks of anxiety, self-doubt, and depression.
Unmarried, and unlikely to change that state, Sir Merjan has no heirs. In the event of his death, the manor would escheat to Baseta, and it would fall to Sir Eres Tereneth to appoint a bailiff or refer the matter to Minarsas.
Sir Eres has accepted scutage in lieu of service.
