Haurnal

Sir Turphet Haurnal is bailiff of Nebrem.

Sir Turphet, a knight who will be 100 at his next birthday, has outlived three wives, all his children save for one daughter, and several of his grandchildren. His heir is his 22 year old great-grandson and namesake, who is presently seeking a wife from amongst the eligible ladies of the shire. Some believe he plans to sample what each of them has to offer before making a choice, and more than one manor lord wants to keep the young rake at arm’s length. He is presently providing feudal service at Baseta, and is not averse to honing his craft in the town.
