Resplendent Accord

Structure

The Accords govern the fledgling democracy of the core-worlds and ex-shogunate territories set up by the Zolotoy Soyuz as part of the Kettosian Peace Accords. Part absurdist bureaucracy, part den of spies, the planets of the Accord are filled with ex-shogunate loyalist, revolutionaries, Zolotoy spies and opportunistic free-agents and corporations.
The struggling government operates three major arms, the Interstellar Criminal Court of Justice & Arbitration, the Department for Post-War Redevelopment, and Department for Interstellar Trade, all of which heavily feature Zolotoy officials.

Public Agenda

The Resplendant Accord exists, in principle, for independent planetary governments to work with the Lycos Combine and Zolotoy Soyuz to establish useful diplomatic and trade relations. But it has been heavily criticized for installing Zolotoy puppets in planetary governments, and constructing Zolotoy schools and churches that convey anti-MES rhetoric in disadvantaged communities.
