Armada

Armada is the standing fleet of Esperanto. It acts both as a military and law enforcement apparatus against space pirates and nations hostile to The Union.
Armada was said to be founded by a powerful trade guild. Over the years it was reformed to become Esperanto's standing military. They are primarily concerned with carrying out the whims of Esperanto's intellectual and financial ruling class without any hesitation. However, most citizens of Esperanto see Armada as a force of peace and progress. They have the power to overrule cruel and despotic kings, and are dedicated to defeating the eternal threat of pirates, monsters, cannibals, and cultists.
Armada Airfey are well known for their signature green and white uniforms with large goggles and a helmet.

Enlistment & Armada Academy

Enlisted Airfey are the lowest ranking members of Armada, and must become an officer to advance to its upper ranks. Armada Officers must go through academy training. Only those who show promise as an Enlisted Airfey, or have the money to directly pay for the tuition, can go to Armada Academy.
Many Academy schools exist throughout the galaxy; however, the largest and most prestigious school is at Red Miles

Magic Training

Armada prides itself on being a military force with casters of all three (known) traditions of magic. Arcane casters typically fulfil attack roles and primal casters are commonly tasked with logistics and terraforming conquered regions to make it suitable for consumption.

Armada Military Structure

Armada consists of its Enlisted Airfey and Officer core. All officers outrank enlisted Airfey.

Officer Ranks

Low Officers
• Ensign
The lowest officer rank. In land operations an Ensign will command a Team. A Team usually is 3 Enlisted and 1 Ensign.
• Vice Lieutenant
In land operations a Vice Lieutenant will command a Squad. A squad usually consists of 3 teams and is usually 12 airfey total.
• Lieutenant
In land operations a Lieutenant will command a Platoon. A platoon usually consists of 2-5 squads. In some cases a Lieutenant may command a small air vessel.
High Officers
• Commander
Commands small air vessels. May administrate a small town or fort.
• Captain
Commands major air vessels or a small division of air vessels. May administrate a city or base.
• Commodore
Commands a division of air vessels. May administrate multiple cities, a space island, or a major base. In some cases may administer a small planet or moon.Admirals
Command
• Rear Admiral
The lowest ranking admiral. May have a variety of roles, from administering portions of a planet or major space island, to commanding a small fleet, to helping with a Vice Admirals duties. Usually at least Level 6.
• Vice Admiral
A vice admiral may fill several roles, to commanding a fleet, from administering several planets or a single major planet, to leading a special operation. Usually at least Level 10.
• Admiral
The second highest ranked admiral. Admirals may lead major operations, but usually are in charge of administrative duties in high command. There are currently 4 Admirals. The 4 Admirals are frequently called The Four Devas.
• Fleet Admiral
The fleet admiral is the the highest member of command.

Knights and Local Governance

In the member-kingdoms of the Gefratoj , knights are local noble commanders who answer to their king. Some kingdoms are able to even afford their own fleet of ships.
Armada will typically try to work with local knights, however, an Armada officer with the rank of Captain or higher can nullify any order a knight gives. In emergencies, with kingdoms in a certain, an Armada Commodore can even conscript a knight and their men-at-arms. This is known as The Peacekeepers Authority.
