The Platinum Dragon

Bahamut is the dragon god of justice. Before entering the Haerisian pantheon, he was a member of the Draconic pantheon, as a deity of good dragons, metallic dragons, wisdom, and enlightened justice known by the name of Xymor. His natural form is that of a platinum dragon, said by many to be the only one of his kind. He is also the eternal rival of his sister Tiamat, The Dragon Queen, goddess of chromatic dragons.

Zealous Dogma

The dragons of old may not recognize their god in the version now adapted into Haerasian worship. Where once the platinum dragon's teaching centered around justice through temperance and mercy, and Bahamut himself was once told to hate having to resort to violence, preferring instead to talk his enemies into surrendering, the modern day teachings implore and encourage a swifter justice.
 
The paladins and followers working for the temples of Bahamut are sent out to bring the dragon's justice to those who threaten and prey on them who can not defend themselves.
While the practice and execution of Bahamut's worship has changed over the years, the core tenets have remained that of a faith based on justice, nobility, protection, and honor:

• Honor and Respect to Righteous Innocence.
• Honor and Protection to the Lesser Races.
• Honor and Correction to the Enemies of Justice and Good.
• Honor and Forbearance for oneself.

Sky Forever

Like most gods, Bahamut is distanced from the material plane. Today it is believed and taught that the platinum dragon makes his home in the elemental plane of air. In ages past, draconic pilgrims would try and cross over to the plane and fly in search of him.
