Northern Pillar

The Northern Pillar or the North is the collective term for the land granted to the Makonnen's Eldest Brother after the War of Unification. It is the dominion of the Northern Pillar and extends from the border of the Salted Plains in the north to southern edge of the rolling savannah to the south, on the border of the Eastern and Southern Pillars.   The North has been ruled by the Northern Pillar from his citadel and are split into three tribes of the Great Chieftaincy who once ruled as kings. The tribes are the Amandi-Eya, the Owusu-Eya, and the Guasa-Eya tribes.

Geography

The North has three main geographic features: The salt savannas to the north, the Mountains of the Faeroahs to the West an the River of the Mother to the East. The Mountains of the Faeroahs create a large rain shield that leave most of the North a dry and barren expanse. The tallest peaks are in the High Faeroah range starts in the south-central regions ends in the Western Pillar, it has many snowcapped peaks and is a place of refuge from for the Northern inhabitants in the times of summer. In places the desert is cut by the irregular watercourses or streams that only flow after rainfalls but are usually dry.   To the southeast of the region from high to low steeps and into rolling savannah, where the trading city of Soyonosai is located.
