Emperor Udomorn

We underestimated him last time. We were foolish to think some lowly fiend scoured from the undertoe of Hell couldn't possibly uproot this world from the ground. With no virtuous soul and his current position as Guzzarott's loyal servant, there is not a single more terrifying mortal than he. His demise is essential to reclaiming the universe.

When I was a lad, I enjoyed coming here, this lawn. One day I asked my father, Then King Nomordu, why we came here so often when there was the whole kingdom of Authinein around. He told me this was not just space but a cemetery. The site of a large war more than two and a half centuries ago. You see, the invading forces of the rest of the world had tried to break the courage of Authinein but the liberation fighters would not give up. Rather, they hid out in the shafts and underpasses, rebelling at night from the glooms. they'd beat drums in the dusk to frighten them before assaulting. They called it the Late Times. Eventually, the invaders sparked the caverns on fire and burned them all alive, leaving them in shallow graves here beneath this field. It scared me, hearing this. All those people. All those burning men right under us. But my father signaled to the sunlight, the Meadow and youths playing, and he told me "We do so to respect the dead. They hurt and ended in the darkness to craft this place into what it is now. Everything is a testament to those who've fallen, and those who would fall, fighting for good." I can't help but wonder what the dead would think if they could see the place now.
