Trizian Military
Standing fighting force of the nation of Trizia, this includes active soldiers, reserve soldiers, noncombat personal, and policing forces.
Structure
The military is very strictly divided into ranks, enforced unilaterally across the army. Ranks go in the order of:
- General - Currently leader of the military (Army)
- Major - Serves as a leader of a division, large fighting force, or other important organization (Division, Brigade, Battalion)
- Captain - Serves as a leader of a fighting force, can very between a platoon or a company (Battalion, Company)
- Lieutenant - Serves as a leader of a small fighting force, anywhere between a fireteam to platoon (Platoon, Squad)
- Sergeant - A soldier who has achieved some manner of award, at times leading small squads, usually holding important positions in larger fighting forces. (Squad, Fireteam, Soldier)
- Corporal - A soldier who still considered an officer, but usually not in control of any fighting forces.(Fireteam, Soldier)
- Private - Entry level soldier (Soldier)
- Army - the totality of a nations forces (100-300k)
- Division- a large fighting force, usually made up of multiple brigades (10-25k)
- Brigade - A focused fighting force, usually with a more singular purpose, but still made up of many different types of fighting personnel (1-5k)
- Battalion - A fighting force of multiple types of units, often given a singular purpose (200-800)
- Company - A force of a single type of unit, made up of multiple platoons (80-200)
- Platoon - A organized force of a single type of unit, made up of squads, fire teams, or individuals (15-75)
- Squad - a small number of individuals who fight organized under a single leader (5-15)
- Fireteam - a small number of individuals, usually specialists, who are tasked with special missions (2-4)
