Sabrina

Family Name: ? (a.k.a. Palara Gridarrion?)

Backstabber

Little is known of Sabrina's history with the Fey prince, Harlock , but whatever history they had was short lived. They worked as partners to some extent before she took her opportunity to betray him before he did. Sabrina knew that no matter where she hid, Harlock would eventually come for her to enact his revenge. The only way to be truly safe was to kill him.

Curse of the Fey

At some point, Sabrina came across the farmer, Mitchel Grisum. Grisum had came across a strange book which had bound itself to him and gave him the skill to craft magical items. These items would grant unique abilities, but these came with a curse as long as the owner retained the benefit. During Sabrina's time with Harlock she knew that this was a book of his creation. The book served as a way to grant power to people that would hopefully become loyal to him in preparation of his invasion of the material plane. As a way to continue to deter Harlock's plan, she befriended Grisum and offered to purchase and distribute the items he was creating. Unbeknownst to him and everyone else, she wasn't actually distributing them but keeping them locked away and out of everyone's hands. She opened a magic shop in Drundle  where she claimed to sell the items among some real items of her own design.

Luck Meets Preparation

Before leaving Drundle she met the party from The Trace. After listening to their tale she recognized them as a group who's goals may align with hers one day. She sold them one of her trinkets which was nothing more than a way for her to keep track of their activities.

When the party began pursuing Harlock they found their way into a mysterious dungeon lair in pursuit of an Ogre Mage (Oni). This Oni had been the servant of a powerful magician, but in the absence of his master, the Oni began pursuing his own goals. One of these goals lead him to kidnapping children for Harlock before the sister of Anton was eventually captured and delivered to Harlock.

The party found themselves captured. The Oni consulted Harlock, who instructed him to keep the party alive. Harlock told the Oni that a woman would be coming for them and to use the opportunity to ambush her. Unfortunately, no trap could have prepared the Oni for Sabrina. After killing the Oni with the help of the released party, she confided in them the events that brought her to rescue them, and their shared desire to kill Harlock. When they were able they took the opportunity to loot the Oni's lair. Sabrina was able to recover a strange, star filled oblong orb, some documents to accompany it, and came across the name "Darian Lock".

Sabrina and the art of War

Acknowledging that they were not ready or able to reach Harlock yet, the party and Sabrina agreed to part ways...for now. While the Huntsthem continued to hunt for a way to get to Harlock in the Feywild, Sabrina prepared for a full on assault. Up to this point Sabrina had excelled at subterfuge with her enchantment magic, but after fighting alongside the party she picked up on their weak points and traveled around the Allrealm to build out her magical arsenal to complement them. Among these magic spells was Disintegrate, Mage Armor, and Simulacrum. When the time came and Harlock's location was revealed by the Huntsthem, she conjured herself a simulacrum copy of herself to help The Huntsthem kill Harlock.

While she had prepared all she could, and she liked their odds, Sabrina was never one to put all her eggs in one basket. The simulacrum would pose as her, with all of her spells and abilities to aid the party, but she didn't have to put herself in harm's way. One small adjustment that she made to the 7th level spell was the ability for her to gaze through its perspective and witness the events that it experienced through a magical gem impeded behind the duplicate's eye. Due to the duplicate's inability to recover magic and vitality, she needed to conserve its use until the group was ready to fight Harlock. When the time came, she prepared the simulacrum, cast greater invisibility on it, and teleported it to the Iron Will's keep where it would pass through the portal and join the Huntsthem.

Blind Ambition

During her preparations to "face" Harlock she also researched the identity of "Darian Lock " and the properties of the orb that she found. Darian Lock was found to be an ambitious mage with little information on him other than he practiced in lore and power that no others dared to, and this lead to his banishment to the Hollowed Isles, the land without magic. As luck would have it the orb ended up being a form of magical fuel, an item that could power a spell up to level 7 even in an anti magic field. The accompanying documents provided instructions to deliver the orb to a specific spot on the hollowed isles, but this was clearly intended for the Oni servant, that betrayed his master and opted to live his own life. A whole lot of good that did him. Sabrina assembled a crack team of warriors that would excel even in the absence of magic on the hollowed isles. She decided to personally lead the expedition, and as insurance, she used her mind as leverage, reasoning that the only way the group could make it off the island is if they made it to Darian. If worse came to worse, she would teleport herself off the island to save herself...if her group didn't kill her first. They were physically superior to her and if they decided to overpower her she knew they could before she could react. This was perhaps the most vulnerable she had ever been. No contingency, no back up. For reasons still unknown; once entering the antimagic field of the islands, Sabrina seemed to be reduced in age, taking on the age of young 20-something. After braving the island, they found Darian, and keeping with her ideals, she elected to leave her group for dead, but Darian chose to include them in his new team.

Gnomes

Over the following year Sabrina kept her distance from the other members of the group that she was so willing to throw under the nonexistent bus. She found solace in the fact the no one was writing a wiki article about her decision to remind the group of her betrayal. Together they followed Darian's instructions and participated in missions to acquire materials to a large machine, a machine that ended up sending them to a world where they would find the next crucial component in Darian's plans. They are brought to a castle in another world filled by fearful refugees. Darian barks out his orders instructing Sabrina to "take out the gnomes". Irked by the abruptness of the mission, she assumes the persona of one of the guards. She finds the gnomes in question, identifying one as a holy healer. She would typically like more time to take out a target rather than a direct fight, but she enacts her plan. She disguises herself as a wounded child to get close to the healer. From there she is able to catch the two off guard. When the fight is about to turn in favor of the gnomes, Sabrina dominates the healer and they both eliminate the gnome bard. As the healer looks in horror at what she was forced to do, Sabrina finishes off the last gnome before returning to the rest of the group in the basement.

With the group retrieving this strange alien skull and returning back to their native plane, the group waits for Darian to continue his ominous plan.
