Demographics

The main demographic are human with varying amounts of orc ancestry. Full blooded orcs are not seen in the city and it is more common to find those classified as half-orcs. It is said that the prominence of this demographic came about due to the Town's proximity to the region's orc tribes.

Government

The town is ran by a town court of 5 men, each specializing in a different facet of daily life such as farming, logging, trade, etc. These catagories change as needed to address changes in current events. Above the town court is The Speaker. The Speaker is town elected and typically will be a healthy mix of human with orc as the position is centered around communicating with the surrounding orc tribes.

Defences

Several town sentries patrol the town and their timber fields to detect suspicious activity but mainly forest fires. The most likely source of an attack on the town would come from the orc tribes. The town's best defense that is to keep a favorable report with them, for if they do ever attack there is nothing that could be done to stop them.

Industry & Trade

The main industry is logging and supplying lumber to Varenguul the area with the largest demand.
Apart from that other trade is conducted with the orc tribes on a fairly routine basis. Hunting parties do not venture far from home, afraid of walking through the middle of a Orc hunt and tempting their rage. Instead the large source of game is traded from the Orc tribes in exchange for medicine, and sometimes weapons and armor.

Infrastructure

The surrounding woods are zoned to accommodate the logging industry and to supply the town's mills to provide lumber for the builders of Granduul.

Architecture

Many of the buildings are log cabins and lodges, reflective of the logging industry of the region.

Geography

Northern hills created the boundary for the region with everything else south remaining relatively flat, but with dense forests.
