Material Characteristics

A grey, rocky, but smooth when refined, material. When found naturally, it appears like a rock, it is often embedder within regular rock. You can often tell if Iron is their by the shiny appearance. Although in some situations it will appear red. Why it does this is unknown. Though all red Iron seems to appear exposed to the sky. When refined it can become smooth and shiny. However it is important to note that it takes much skill to get it to such refinement. It is also very strong when refined, but if refined in the wrong way, it will become brittle.

Geology & Geography

Found scattered around the world. Iron is very common, however deep mining is needed to reach it. Common methods include simply digging into the ground, and blasting the ground. Large deposits are rare but do exist. Multiple of these large deposits have been found by the Empire of the Son in the unexplored areas. Three of these deposits have been confirmed by the Angelic core, but no others have been found, or much more lilkly un logged.

Origin & Source

Iron was the first metal discovered in the world. It makes up about ten precent of the material that makes up the ground. The material was first created as a counter balance to the rock. As to finalize the Seal of the Serpent. It was unoticed by the Angels or the Empire of the Son until the year of 52.
