Bella Chandler

Bella Chandler writes impassioned social commentary columns for Churchwall's broadsheets. One might even call her obsessed.   Bella was raised by her father singlehandedly as he operated his own candlemaking business, she having been abandoned on his doorstep by the woman who gave birth to her, Heliconia's Mother. Though he tried to shield her from the scandal when she was young, Bella couldn't escape from the gossips, and learned all too early how unfairly a "society" might judge a person on little to no basis.   It may have been easy to become bitter over such a thing, but for Bella it fueled her passionate compassion. She pulls no punches and tolerates little in regards to the affectations of social niceties. Naturally she's unpopular with certain circles, but to many, many more she is the voice they've needed, crying out against the tide of whitewashed pretense.
