A soul for a soul: You were hired by a god to do a job. You cannot fail this Job, or your soul is forfeit.

Mental characteristics
In the year -3464cr, Kraos was created in the empty world of Hades. At the time, he was formless, comparable to that of a cloud. In -2464cr, he, out of sheer boredom, created the Yugoloths, a race of fiend mercenaries. At this time, he took on the form of an Yagnoloth. This was lucky, as in -2200cr, the Demon hordes began attacking, causing the creation of Devils in -1200cr, and creating the need for hire help. Kraos was the forefront of this operation, hiring out his children to Demons and Devils alike. However, in 50wr, he had a realization. He hated his creation. They were mercenaries only, and while watching creatures kill each other was fun for him, it grew boring to him eventually. He would abandon his creations, and look for a new form of entertainment. Then, he discovered the Mortals, and how they acted. His fascination grew more when he found out some gods would give them some of their powers. He didn't understand how this worked, however, and would give random mortals some of his power personally. He used these mortals as conduits to watch the world. Eventually, he realized that he could create his own church, and created the "Kraos' selected." All creatures enrolled in this church become mercenaries for him, and likewise of gods. It was also at this time where Kraos decided to change his image to that of the Goliaths, in order to still keep his intimidating look while also not looking like a Yugoloth. In 1650wr, an elder evil threatened to destroy the mountains of celestia. The Gods Hired Kraos, for the price of a demiplane. Kraos, and his religious employees, defeated the the elder evil after 100 years of fighting. In the end, Kraos got his demiplane, and his selected have a plane of existence they go to when they die.
In the year 2160wr, Kraos approached a young Goliath named Bearthous Indomitable Garthrox. He promised the revenged Garthrox wanted, in exchange for service to him for the rest of his life. This was how Kraos would try to hire people, so to him it was nothing out of the ordinary. However, in 2200wr, Garthrox would do so well under his god that Kraos would give him the status of demigod, and allowed him to continue his work for the rest of eternity.
