The Kulcruzan
A secretive cabal of loan sharks, thieves, and money launderers, the Kulcruzan are involved with a myriad of shady behaviors; blackmail, kidnapping for ransom, political sabotage, and the fencing of contraband and stolen goods, to name a few. Operating out of legitimate fronts, the Kulcruzan have evaded discovery by the authorities for decades, and their business extends even beyond the borders of the Concordant Federation; rumor has it that at least one pawn shop, nightclub, or bar in every major city is secretly a front for the Kulcruzan.
Structure
The Kulcruzan at large is formed of a semi-unified group of individual guild dens, scattered throughout cities in the Federation. Each den is led by one or two Kulmeisters, depending on its size, and duties within the den include treasurers, bouncers, scouts, rogues, and fences. The guild has to keep up appearances, and will not accept agents who prefer to work solo or refuse to take orders.
Public Agenda
The Kulcruzan has no single public face or agenda, and instead hide their nature behind legitimate fronts, often in the form of a tavern, club, or general store, through which they conduct illicit business and fence stolen goods. As a rule, the Kulcruzan try not to advertise themselves in public, and shy away from more dramatic crimes to maintain this - they will generally try not to kill their marks, and will not take hit jobs.
