Vaneas (a.k.a. Ve (Kaio))

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Vaneas is an individual who carries many injuries with him wherever he goes. He is always covered in scars, with burn marks on his hands and lips (i wonder which fire god gave him those) He has a splint on his left leg and carries a staff to help support him, despite this, he can still move freely around the world and is still very agile and fairly strong.

Body Features

His left leg was badly broken in an attempt to halt an ongoing war and is yet to fully heal, he wears a splint made of the handle from a broken warhammer and some discarded rope to hold his leg in place. If his leg doesn't heal within the next year, the god of healing/medicine has decided the leg will need replaced. He has various scars that cover their body like vines, almost every inch of him is scarred. They also have burn scars across the palms of his hands that the healing god has offered to fix, but they refuse.

Facial Features

They have small burn scars dappled across their face and will eventually lose the use of their right eye.

Near white hair and skin.

Special abilities

Aura: Has a 'peaceful aura' that calms those near him, usually causing mortals to stand down and gods to halt the fighting for a chance at peace talks. Charisma: Master negotiatior, can make almost anyone stand down and retreat. Godliness: Has slightly enhanced agility and strength, less than other gods, but more than the average human.

When Vaneas was first created, they were a neutral being, not leaning any particular way. Over the centuries, he realised he preferred masculinity, but still chooses to appear andrygynous.

Sexuality

When he was first created, he lacked any kind of attraction. He slowly developed feelings for Kaio, and Kaio alone. (He's demisexual and romantic)

Education

All that he knows, he learnt from Veda and Sorda. Apart from some knowledge of humans, Virdae and Nodian, which didn't exist before Sorda retired to the depths.

Employment

He has literally only ever been a tool of peace, he has only been the ultimate anti-weapon. Veda and Sorda didn't intend for this to happen, but neither of them anticipated how many conflicts would occur at any given time.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Though he doesn't see it as an accomplishment, he is responsible for keeping the entire planet at peace. He has managed to quell every major aggression without any harm done to anyone, and solved most minor issues as well.

Failures & Embarrassments

He reincarnated once In this time, the humans managed to drive each other to war and without the influence of Vaneas, many groups were wiped out.

Mental Trauma

As many people died when he wasn't able to save them, he hasn't reincarnated again since. This means he carries every trauma, injury and slight pain everywhere he goes. Scars on his body don't disappear, he can never fully heal

He dreams of the day where the humans stay at peace forever and they can retire to their grove with Kaio and never have to end a war again.

Representation & Legacy

Vaneas is often associated with beetles, as they are hardy and difficult to kill. His domain is often associated with sheep, for their docile and calm nature.
He has existed since long before humankind and will continue long aftr they are gone, but humans have always made physical versions of their legends, especially the glowing white being that brings peace.
