Pirate's Training Grounds

The Pirate's Training Grounds are located on the coast of Faron and are for training Gerudo into Yiga affiliated Darknuts. They are in a nook between two cliff faces.

Purpose / Function

The Fort is a base for the Yiga to gain intel on the Ocean and Islandic regions of Hyrule. It is also a training ground for those who Rotana has recruited outside the Yiga. Since Rotana is located in the Gerudo Desert, these new recruits are mostly Gerudo.

Design

There are pressure plates that unlock some doors. Many doors are locked by keys. The entrance to the Zonai portion of the fort requires three pieces.

Entries

There is two entries. In the front, there is a wooden gate. In the back, there is a cave with a hidden dock that leads out of a cave into the open ocean.

Contents & Furnishings

In the Zonai portion, there is a crude statue that blocks a secret passage to the back entrance and hidden docks. This statue is of Zonai make, unlike the rest of the room, which has been refurnished with Yiga decor.
DC 7 Civilization: The statue is of Zonai design. Despite how crude and damaged it is, you can tell it depicts a woman dressed in barbaric armor.
DC 13 Civilization: The room seems to have originally been a Zonai ruin, but the Yiga have refurnished it.

DC 4 Mechanics: The Statue is blocking a hidden door.

Alterations

Originally, this location featured an underground Zonai Ruin, repurposed into a Yiga area. Outside the Ruin, the Gerudo Trainees have expanded it into a fort, prison, living quarters, etc.

Architecture

Most of the place is a crude creation of wooden logs. It is gated and fenced. However, a small section of the grounds is a Zonai Ruin.

Defenses

The place has cliffs on either side, hiding it from view and protecting it. The front is gated with massive logs.

History

This Zonai Ruin was once where Asteria stayed while under the protection of the Faron Zonai.
