The Shadow is a specie of deadly and lethal apex predator that lives in dark places throughout the realms. The creature are named the Shadows because of their appearance, which is like shadows. These creatures are bloodthirsty and would kill any creature to eat. Beware the shadows!

Anatomy

The specie of Shadow is a specie with the gift of shape-shifting. They can basically shape-shift into the shadow of anyone and anything they wish and know (something they saw before). Because of their shapeshifting ability, their numbers of limbs varies. Those who was able to see and escape described the Shadow was a dark shape that was the colour of shadows and they blend in real well.

Genetics and Reproduction

The process of reproduction is unknown to all because no one dared to study.

Growth Rate & Stages

There are two stages of life for the Shadows. The first stage which contains the human equivalent of childhood and adulthood, and the second stage is the human equivalent of elders. When the Shadow is in the first stage, its colour is from a pale shadow to a regular shadow. When the Shadow is in the second stage, the colour of the Shadow ranges from a dark shadow to pitch black.

The Shadows mainly live in dark caves, but they also dwell in general dark spaces

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

The specie of Shadow have the sharpest and the best sight of all the creatures alive and extinct. The Masters of knowledge speculate that the soul of this specie live in the Shadow/Soul Realm, so they can see everything that has a soul clearly, but see everything else less clearly. However, many believe they can see everything around them at the same time, which makes them almost impossible to kill. Their hearing ability is not as good as their sight, but it is decent enough. Some believe the Shadows have ability to glimpse the future.
