History

The Settlement of Claude was founded by a human name Claude Watson at the beginning of the Age of Dusk. Claude was skilled at defensive magic, so when he discovered his abilities and suggested to his home town the idea of protecting using magic (as towns were harassed by raiders), he was forced into exile. Back in those days, the nations, especially humans had barely any knowledge of magic, they only thought it was dark magic. Due to his exile, Claude founded the settlement and invited others to join him. At first, none seemed to come to the enchanted settlement. However, when rumours said that the raiders could not enter the borders of the small town, people were amazed. Soon, people moved into to the settlement and the small town became a city. Those who would come where soon annotated by the Charge of the Raiders. All the cities at that time were destroyed save for the Settlement of Claude. The city continued to thrive and live though disasters.
